Beautiful game, horrid controls

I really wanted to like this game more, but the controls dont lend well to the more difficult platforming sections. I spent hours trying to escape the spider sections, and replaying the same dry few jumps. Im not looking to inch through an ipad game because the interface doesnt match up with the gameplay mechanics.
