When I got limbo it was a weird game but and I was right. Also it just leaves me on cliff hangers and its an amazing game.

When getting this game I was seduced into thinking itd be an atmospheric puzzler. Eh. No. I called this an exercise in futility but its more exercise in seeing how many ways your character can be impaled, gutted, stabbed, electrocuted, eaten, sawed with his internal organs streaming behind and on and on. Seriously! I think thats how your supposed to have fun because its not the puzzles. The puzzles are hard but only because theres a lag in the game controls. The puzzles are NOT clever just time based with awful controls. And what is the great pay off at the end? The epic 7 second stories conclusion? Nothing. You get to to ride on the fun fun roller coaster of horrors again presumably finding new and exiting ways to kill your character because fun? Ok the the backgrounds are well done. I just dont see to what end. Theres a bunch of randomly grizzly stuff to get through because fun.

I am not a gamer person but I couldnt stop play this game it takes 2 days to finish it very very very nice game with creative puzzles, contolrs are not very bad and I get use to them...

This game has a very deep meaning. It is believed by some that there is a phase between life and death called limbo. In this phase, you can fight to stay alive, or die for good. This game is about limbo, you are trying to fight to stay alive or die trying. All this would explain all the other people who are trying to survive and all the dead bodies of the failed attempts at surviving. At the end, when he sees his loved one, he has succeeded in limbo and can live again. I love this game, it has great controls, graphics, and physics along with brutal deaths.

Very nice game ..Pretty gas and activate the mind, but very bad control .. especially with regard to the withdrawal of the stuff back .. I hope to add buttons control makes the game so much nicer

I have heard good things about this game and I would love to play it but whenever I start the game it loads then crashes before anything happens:(

This is most addicting game ever. You are running around trying to keep your little guy alive and the only way to get through the levels is to kill him multiple times. Sometimes it even makes you laugh hysterically sometimes you get so angry that you want to throw your phone at the wall. The only thing that I can say bad about it is that the controllers are kind of hard to get used to considering youre using your thumbs the whole time. But really how long is there any other way to make this game function on a I phone.This game is worth every cent pick it up today, I mean it! You will not regret it. Really hope they come out with the second one or other games in general because I would purchase some immediately.

I dont see how anyone wouldnt give it five stars. One of the best games in the AppStore. Its just greatness.

such a cool game with the worst control interface ive ever played. inconsistent character control makes u wanna throw ur phone. save ur $$ & just watch the video & imagine.

This is a solid game with interesting graphics and interesting puzzles that get harder as you go along. It is dark, literally and figuratively. It is only in black and white, and the whole game is kinda creepy and be prepared for the often deaths that can look gruesome. Many reviews have referred to the controls: I agree it would be better with physical buttons, but I really had no complaints with the gameplay. You just have to be persistent in continuing to move your finger the right way, sometimes without a break, which was a little harder. But I thoroughly enjoyed the game, even when it was hard, and was hoping that there was another one to play.

Beautifully designed game. Crappy controls, not terribly intuitive. Needs some hints at what to do if stuck.

I never write reviews on apps, but wow. This game is absolutely incredible. If youre looking for a great game with an interesting story, play LIMBO. Its definitely worth the $5.

I actually thought the controls were spot on. But to me game itself was very boring. The first half was very exciting, and the last half was just frustratingly difficult puzzles about anti gravity and elevators and other nonsense. I had to use a walkthrough for several of the end game puzzles and that ruined the whole experience for me. The game has absolutely zero replay value. I just beat it yesterday and I never want to play it again as long as I live. Boy I gotta tell ya, I expected A LOT more from this game

Honestly, Im very impressed with this game. It has almost no issues, and on top of that, this plays like its a pc game. If you like action/adventure games, it is well worth the money.

Looks great, but anyone who plays it on console knows that timing is everything. The control pad can be a lot better. Ive noticed that when swinging from ropes, it is nearly impossible to time my jumps right. In fact, most of the time I cant get the character to let go of the rope in time to jump to a ledge. Other times, the character wouldnt let go of the rope at all. I got to the point that I wanted to throw my phone, so I quit, hahahaaa.

This game is great, and it translated to iPhone really well

At first I was skeptical. Everything in the game gave me chills. It was so beautiful yet so horrific. The fact that no one knows the story behind the game except for the developers is very heart wrenching and sickening, but also a wonderful touch. Everything about this game is absolutely flawless. Personally I think the controls are very fun. I probably would not have downloaded this game if it werent for the grayscale colors. 10/10.

I dont think Im particularly clumsy with touch controls, but playing limbo on the iPhone is like threading a needle while wearing wool mittens. How can anyone put up with the frustration?????
